We built MediaStack because
we needed it ourselves.

We spent years running digital operations at media organisations and kept running into the same problem: the tools available were either built for industries that weren't media, or were so generic they required months of customisation to be useful.

We tried every major platform. We built workarounds. We hired engineers to custom-build solutions. And we kept hitting the same ceiling: the tools didn't understand the newsroom.

So we built what we wished had existed. Starting with the AI Newsroom tools we needed to scale editorial output, then the audience intelligence systems that actually connected data to decisions, then the subscription infrastructure that treated revenue as a strategy rather than a bolt-on.

Over time, it became a complete operating system — tested in real environments, refined through real election nights and real subscription launches, and shaped by the feedback of every media organisation we've worked with.
